My name is Vincent den Hartog. I am 23 and live in Amsterdam. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, I started my Master’s degree in Corporate Communication at the University of Amsterdam. I was interested in how companies communicate with the outside world and present themselves.

I completed my Master’s degree in this field last year, and this year I started my second master’s degree in STREEM – Real Estate & Finance at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Working at Spring sparked my interest in real estate, and I wanted to be better theoretically educated in addition to the practical knowledge I gained at Spring.

Alongside my first Master’s degree, I started as a Sales Associate in the Sales team of Spring Real Estate. I did this for nine months before being asked to join the Capital Markets team. I have been working in the Capital Markets team for two years now.

The Capital Markets team is involved in larger projects that interest me. In the team, I advise developers and (institutional) investors. What I find remarkable about this role is that you get to go in-depth on projects, which you can combine with the commercial side of the real estate industry.

The most significant advantage for me is that in Spring, you can be involved in every transaction from start to finish, regardless of whether you are just starting or have been in the business for a long time. Moreover, Spring helps you to look ahead and think about growing within the organization.

In addition to my studies and Spring, I am a member of a real estate student association, FRESH. This is a national association that brings together students and professionals with an interest in real estate.

I am often found on the football field and in the gym in my free time. And, of course, I am good at drinking beers with friends.
